We can do it together!

Sustainable Urban Farming for Everyone

Rationale

Sampaloc Goes Green was established in March 2021 as an advocacy initiative by the Manila Blessed Family, driven by the urgent need to address hunger and promote sustainable urban farming in our community.

Our mission is to provide community support through free education on urban farming techniques, suitable farm inputs, and access to fresh produce right here in the heart of Manila. By educating young people and empowering them to engage in urban farming, we aim to foster a generation that values sustainability and self-sufficiency. Additionally, transforming urban spaces into Green, oxygen-producing areas helps mitigate pollution and contributes to a healthier environment.

Sampaloc Goes Green Initiatives

What are Our Present Initiatives?

Here are the present initiatives that we started here in Sampaloc Manila. We are working out and building partnerships to expand our green initiatives.

Community Greening

We transform empty spaces into vibrant green areas, turning unused plots into productive urban farms and gardens.

Social
Sharing

We create valuable videos to inspire and educate our community about urban farming. These videos share practical tips and motivate others to join us in building a greener, more sustainable environment.

Fresh
Produce

We promote insecticide-free farming using sustainable farming methods and recyclable materials sourced locally.

Sharing Farm
Inputs

We carefully select and source our farming materials from reputable farms and minority groups in nearby provinces.
